Resulta imposible olvidar las bondades deportivas del progenitor; ganador 3 veces del Champion de Chile (1989-1990), (1990-1991) y (1992-1993). A lo anterior se cruza la banda tricolor al ser escogido como Sello de Raza (1985) en el mismo recinto rancag\u00fcino.
